El Centro de Derechos Humanos Fray Bartolomé de Las Casas A, C. (Frayba), recibió información de la situación de riesgo a la vida, seguridad e integridad personal de comunidades del Pueblo Maya Tsotsil en el municipio de Aldama, Chiapas. De acuerdo a un testimonio, el día de hoy, 12 de septiembre, a las 17:00 horas: “Andrés Ruiz Santis, de 61 años de edad, originario de la comunidad de Sepelton, fue herido de bala de alto calibre, arriba de la oreja izquierda, cuando regresaba de trabajar su parcela. En el camino de Tabak, municipio de Aldama, Chiapas, México”.
Según reportes de la Comisión Permanente de 115 comuneros desplazados, los ataques desde el municipio de Chenalhó, procedentes de grupos civiles armados, se intensificaron y persisten desde el viernes 11 de septiembre. Las comunidades agredidas son: Yetón, Ch’ivit, Juxtón, Ch’ayomte’, San Pedro Cotsilnam, Xuxch’en, Tabak, Koko’, Stselejpotobtik, en Aldama. Desde los siguiente puntos: El Ladrillo, Tijera Caridad, Chalontik, T’elemax, El Chino, Fracción Ak’tik 2, Slumka, Tok’oy, El Colado, Tojtik, Telesecundaria y El Volcán, en Chenalhó.
Ante esta situación de violencia, la población se desplaza forzadamente hacia los centros de refugios en cada comunidad. En estos momentos las agresiones armadas continúan.
Reiteramos que el gobierno de Chiapas ha sido omiso ante la crisis humanitaria en la región Altos al ser permisivo con los grupos civiles armados de corte paramilitar de Chenalhó.
Solicitamos a la solidaridad nacional e internacional firmen la acción urgente que encontrarán en la página www.frayba.org.mx y/o hagan llamamientos al Estado mexicano exigiendo:
- Garantice de manera inmediata los derechos a la vida, seguridad e integridad física y psicológica de las familias del Pueblo Maya Tsotsil del municipio de Aldama, especialmente las ubicadas en los límites con Chenalhó.
- Aplique los Principios Rectores del Desplazamiento Forzado de la Organización de las Naciones Unidad para proporcionar atención humanitaria a las familias en desplazamiento forzado de 13 comunidades en Aldama.
- Investigue de manera pronta y adecuada, así como sancione, desarme y desarticule a los grupos civiles armados de corte paramilitar de Chenalhó, responsables directos de los ataques que han provocado desplazamientos forzados en la región Altos de Chiapas.
